Campus Mission

University Campus students gather

The Canadian university campus is a mission field unlike any other.

Many students are away from home for the first time. They face new fears, new temptations, new pressures.

They arrive on campus as wet cement. University is where they take shape. They learn about themselves, learn about their world, and learn to be tomorrow's leaders. Many of the values and convictions that they will hold for life are shaped during their brief time here at university.

Our Campus Mission seeks to ensure that as many students as possible acquire some of the essential convictions, beliefs, skills and vision that they will need to make a difference for Christ's kingdom.

Students in prayer

The Campus Mission is one of the most active and growing areas of our work. We are dedicated to encouraging university students to achieve their potential for God. One by one we introduce students to Christ. Then we coach them to grow in Him, and teach them how to invest their lives in others. We are passionate about seeing the Lord establish a vast movement of people whose lives are characterized by faith, compassion and hope.

What we do on campus
Our university campus staff are usually husband-and-wife teams. They use their creativity and talents to reach students for Christ and disciple them in their faith. Visit one of our campus missions and you will find the Navigators involved in most of the following activities:

One-on-one discipleship

One-to-one, life-to-life time with students
You'll find us helping students learn the basics of the Christian life, share their faith, balance priorities, develop a strong prayer and devotional life, and grow in Christ-like character.

Walking through the campus

Small group Bible studies
We help students to develop an understanding of Scriptural truth and how to apply it to their daily lives, in and out of the classroom, as well as on campus, at home and in the workplace.

Small Groups are fun

Small-group meetings
We host social gatherings that strengthen relationships and provide fun and challenging ways for students to grow spiritually.

Summer Quest adventure

Large meetings
We also host conferences, retreats and summer training programs where students get away from the rigors of college life and focus on friendships and spiritual development.
