To Know Christ and To Make Him Known

Who are The Navigators of Canada?

Our short answer is that we are disciples who make disciples.

Our long answer is that The Navigators of Canada is an evangelical non-profit organization with a long history of working with individuals and churches to fulfil Christ's great commission to "go and make disciples" (Matthew 28:19) by multiplying labourers for Christ across Canada and overseas.

Our mission is to reach, disciple and equip people to know Christ and to make Him known through successive generations.

We work on campuses, in our communities and around the world. We work one-on-one. We work in small groups. We seek to motivate and equip ordinary men and women to fix their eyes on Christ and to become fully devoted followers of Him. We encourage Christians to live by faith, feed on the Scriptures and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

A vision for the world, a heart for individuals
We value the uniqueness of every individual and we direct our discipling efforts according to their needs—both perceived and hidden (Ephesians 4:29). We believe that people are looking for an authentic Christianity before they are willing to believe. The greatest apologetic we have is our lives. The greatest influence we have is through our Character. And the greatest model to follow is Jesus Christ.

We share what we've learned
We are well known for our Bible study helps, The 2:7 Series of study guides, small-group discussion materials, Topical Memory System of Scripture memorization, and NavPress, our publishing ministry. Review and buy these materials online by clicking here: Resource Centre online store.

Navigators are people just like you
Navigator staff are called Navigators. Navigators win people to faith in Christ, help them establish their foundations in Christ, and nurture them until they can reproduce by doing the same with another.

Navigators represent tens of thousands of men and women who have been reached for Christ, nurtured in discipleship, established in communities of faith and launched toward a lifestyle of touching others for Christ. These people are impacting churches, communities and the marketplace across the land. To receive information about a Navigator near you, click here: Staff Directory.

A force for good worldwide
The Navigators of Canada staff function like a lay religious order, employer and charity. We are part of a world-wide network of 4206 Christians representing 71 nationalities, serving in 103 countries, speaking 152 languages, including 1,109 cross-cultural missionary staff. Canadian Navigators minister on 19 campuses, in 20 community settings, and in 15 overseas locations.
